In 2009, Omar Silva worked as an ADA consultant for Stafford King Wiese Architects, Inc identifying physical barriers for disabled people; he also planned and renovated many Kaiser Permanente Medical Office Buildings, ensuring they met The American with Disabilities Act, The International Building Code and The California Building Code requirements.
Between 2007 and 2011, he worked at Comstock Johnson Architects, Inc. as a Project Manager, developing multiple commercial, religious, industrial, governmental, public and recreational buildings. Carrying out multiple constructions of new buildings and renovations.
In 2013, Omar joined the renowned firm Wood Architects, within the Project Managers team, where he performed multiple hospitals and medical office buildings renovations, obeying a legal responsibility from Dignity Health Group in relation to accessibility of all public buildings.
Currently, Omar collaborates at the prestigious team Mozaffari Engineering. specialized in design and structural engineering. His main task is to develop structural blueprints for commercial and "High End" Residential projects.
For the past 17 years, his work in the United States has been specialized in the design, planning, management and development of commercial, residential, industrial and governmental buildings, together with some private developers like Jackson Properties, Meyer Companies, Buzz Oates Nelson Properties, McCuen Properties, among others.
Omar created Silva Design Studio as a consulting firm that provides designs with a comprehensive project development.
